Nico Calanchini

As a Morro Bay native, Nico grew up attending Blues games and fell in love with the community and atmosphere that surrounded the organization. Nico has been rising through the ranks with the Blues since 2019 when he started as an intern on the Promotional Team. Before taking the position of Beer Manager & Director of Hospitality in 2021, he spent the 2020 and 2021 Spring Training seasons at Camelback Ranch where he was a Ticket Operations Account Executive for the Dodgers and White Sox. During this time, he was attending Arizona State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Sports Business. Nico took over responsibilities as Assistant General Manager in February of 2022 and after three seasons Nico was named General Manager of the Blues. In 2024 he signed a three-year extension, solidifying his leadership through the 2027 season.
